Back in 1979, a wooden roller coaster named the Beast opened at Paramount's Kings Island in Ohio. It was the longest wooden coaster in the world, being an 7,400-foot-long monster with two lift hills and wicked helixes. The ride was an immediate favorite by many, and the legend must be carried on. As with most rides, before Son of Beast was announced, the internet flooded with rumors. They were about PKI making a sequel to a ride there, called Son of Beast (don't think about the initials), and most were certain it would also be another record setter. 20 years after the original, Son of Beast has finally started to rise. Son of Beast will be the
world's tallest wooden roller coaster, with it's lift peaking at an incredible
